Curriculum
Areas of Study
Literature
Our Pre-K through 1st lessons offer hands-on exploration and learning of phonics based reading and reading readiness skills. Our 2nd through 6th lessons focus on individual skills using small group instruction, aiming to provide personalized support to enhance students’ reading and comprehension abilities.
Mathematics
Hands-on, center based activities give students opportunities to explore math concepts and build confidence.
Sciences
With a variety of science themes, our classes give students an opportunity to learn in a group environment with hands-on material and Christ-centered curriculum.
Art
Our art classes will encourage creativity and allow students to work on fine motor skills through engaging, spiraling projects. Art is a way for children to explore and celebrate God’s creation, recognizing the beauty and diversity of the world around them.
Physical Education
We understand the importance of movement breaks! There will be opportunities of movement throughout the school day, as well as planned PE classes. By incorporating games and exercises, we aim to focus on developing students’ gross motor skills through fun and engaging activities.
Music
Group music will address foundational music concepts and skills such as music theory, note reading, rhythm activities, and group performance.
Writer's Workshop
This program is designed to foster creativity, improve writing skills, and provide a supportive environment for students in grades 7-12 to explore their literary interests.
